STERNTALER OFFERS
We have a range of different lessons to suit individual needs. All lessons are
conducted by an experienced instructor in a professional manner. We welcome all
levels of riders and you are invited to bring your own horse or use our quiet,
educated school horses.
Please advise us on the level of your riding experience when booking your lesson
so we may allocate you a suitable horse and instructor.
We enjoy a fully enclosed indoor arena so lessons will go ahead in any weather.

PRIVATE LESSONS
Half hour and one hour lessons tailored to the individual rider’s standard in dressage or jumping and the basics for beginners.
SHARED LESSONS
Half hour and one hour lesson for two riders of a similar riding standard.
GROUP LESSONS
A one hour riding lesson with three or more riders.
HALF AND FULL DAYS
Half day lessons are from 9am to 12pm and from 12.30pm to 4.00pm.
Full day lessons start at 9 am and finish at 4pm.
These are held every Saturday and Sunday and daily in school holidays.
These packages include learning how to lead, brush and saddle your pony and a
one hour group riding lesson (approximately 6 riders to a group).Full day packages
include one riding lesson am and pm.
Children that have never ridden before or unable to trot unaided are encouraged
to attend private lessons before joining into the day packages.
LADIES MORNINGS
Every Thursday from 10am to 12pm during school term.
Ladies mornings include a one hour group lesson and morning tea.
AFTER SCHOOL LESSONS
Group lessons are held every Tuesday and Thursday at 5pm during school term.
Half and full hour lessons are available daily.
BIRTHDAY PARTIES
Scheduled on Saturday or Sundays from 12 to 3pm.
The children get to brush the ponies, plait ribbons in their manes and have a
one hour group ride with basic instruction and games on horseback. We provide
drinks, lollies and a birthday cake for after the ride.
Minimum 4 people.
RIBBON DAYS
These are tailored as an introduction into competition and are great, fun days with a range of classes including a rider class, jumping, costume class (bring your own) and games.
Riders are divided into classes according to their level of ability. Ribbon Days are usually held monthly. Check out the news and events for dates and results.
TWO DAY CAMPS
Camps are run every week in the school holidays and start at 9am the first day and finish at 4pm the following day.
All meals, overnight stay and lessons (see full day program) included.
The two day camps are run at Sterntaler.
FIVE DAY CAMPS
We are now offering 5 day camps in school holidays at Sterntaler. Included are 2 lessons daily in jumping, dressage,cross country and we play
games on horse back. One day we will take the horses to the beach. Help feeding
the horses and play with the foals. All meals and accomodations are inclusive.Bring
your swimmers for the pool.

HORSE PURCHASE ASSESSMENT
Sterntaler offers quality horses for sale. We can also assist clients in evaluating
and selecting a suitable horse that they wish to purchase elsewhere.
SCHOOLING OF HORSES
We take in horses for schooling. Feed and agistment are included and the horse
is trained 5 times weekly. We can also exercise, school and compete your horse
on a casual basis.
LEASING A HORSE
For regular clients we offer horses for lease. You may ride free daily, and have first option in booking this horse for a competition.
Included in the lease is $25 towards lessons a week. Lessons must be taken within 4
weeks after the week of leasing.Lessons are not reimbursable. The horse will still be used in school lessons.
WHAT TO WEAR
To begin with, long comfortable pants and closed in shoes (preferably with a
heel) are acceptable.
Helmets are available.
Bring your own lunch and snacks.
